Axel’s Bonfire
This Twin Cities restaurant chain opened at the airport where Split Rock used to be. Expect lines of others looking for that familiar Southwestern cuisine. Main Terminal

Fletcher’s Wharf
Developed by the folks behind Lord Fletcher’s on Lake Minnetonka, the menu has several nods to Minnesota. This full-service restaurant seats about 125 and offers the signature walleye sandwich, wild rice soup, and other classic American fare. Humphrey Terminal

French Meadow Bakery & Cafe
The Lyndale haven has given health-conscious travelers, parents, and vegetarians a delightful option at the airport. Organic breads make great grilled cheese sandwiches, and it’s also a good place to find a real salad. F Concourse

Locanda D'Amico
Slated to open this month (December) in the old Lake Line Pub space. The menu was still being developed at presstime, but the concept features high-quality, moderately priced Italian dishes in a full-service atmosphere. F Concourse

The Lodge
Pay homage to this classic bar that’s open from morning to night. Celebrate taking that trip you’ve always wanted, and look at all the foreign currency tacked onto the wall of this little hideout. G Concourse

Maui Taco & Surf Bar
These tacos are beloved on the West Coast. Choose fresh fish, meat, and veggie tacos, and slather on the salsa. Cheap, quick, and worth the walk. C Concourse

Stage Deli
New York’s famous deli’s first Midwest location caters to travelers hungry for a taste of the Big Apple. Sky-high sandwiches are sliced right in front of you. Main Terminal

Wolfgang Puck Café
Famous Puck soups, salads, pizzas, and other express items are served in a chic setting. The wine bar is a cozy place to kill some time before the flight. G Concourse
