If you are in the Loring Park neighborhood and need a place to watch the game or get a pint of something cold and strong, 3 Monkey’s Pub and Grub might be worth a stop. It boasts the largest LCD screen TV known to man and has reasonably priced bar food, with tasty items such as the French dip, black and tan onion rings, and monkey barrels (aka tater tots) to go along with the aforementioned drinks. Consider it an especially worthy stop on Fridays from 9 pm to 12 am during the “beer and a buddy” special, which gets you any tap beer with any appetizer for, get this, six dollars. Now, this monkey knows a good deal.
