Masa, a contemporary Mexican restaurant, is the first of its kind in the Twin Cities and one among a short list of venues offering Mexican Alta Cocina nationwide.  Masa “celebrates regional and contemporary Mexican cookery…a first for the Twin Cities,” notes Andrew Zimmern of Minneapolis St.Paul Magazine.

Set on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis, Masa is a hot spot for food-savvy urbanites.  Well known for their Italian restaurants, D'Amico & Partner's passion for food extends to all cultures.  Executive Chef Jay Sparks and Head Chef Saul Chavez have created a menu of cosmopolitan food with regional authenticity.  “Masa’s menu offers traditional south-of-the-border fare given a haute cuisine (or in this case, alta cocina) treatment” notes Jeremy Iggers, Star Tribune.

Featuring the rich colors and textures of Mexico and presented with metropolitan sophistication, the atmosphere is cool enough to appeal to the discriminating tastes of a downtown clientele.

Serving lunch Monday through Friday, and dinner 7 nights a week.  Reservations are recommended, but walk-in Guests are always warmly welcomed.
