The Oceanaire Seafood Room

Editor's Choice
$$$$ | Seafood

Responsible for bringing all sorts of new seafood to town, these guys define "flown in fresh". We prefer the simpler fare over some of the overwrought recipes. Generous steak house-type side dishes and top-of-the-line Key lime pie are added bonuses. The clubby, nostalgic room evokes the '40s.

The Oceanaire is an inviting retro supper club that serves the freshest fish, flown in daily from around the world, with a focus on quality, quantity and flavor in both classic and contemporary preparations. You will find both seasonal and regionally inspired seafood dishes to suit any palette, in a setting that marries character and warmth with sleek sophistications.

Fresh catches are checked at the top of each day’s menu with selections offered in both a flavorful “Simply Grilled or Broiled” preparation of lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper or a variety of skillfully crafted “Specialty” preparations.

The very design of the restaurant, evocative of a 1930’s ocean liner, reinforces the Oceanaire’s devotion to seafood. Effortless lines and fluid details refine style and elegance with intricate accents of the 30’s and 40’s while big-band music swirls through the air.

Distinct features such as colorful mounted fish and lucid seafood quotes painted directly on the walls temper the formal white tablecloths and sophisticated red leather booths.
