The Golden Compass, Deltora Quest books, and The Spiderwick Chronicles. I heard Deltora Quest and Spiderwick Chronicles were great books, and I saw The Golden Compass movie and that made me want to read it.

Inkheart and Inkspell by Cornelia Funke. Inkheart is going to be made into a movie and I want to read it before I see the movie. I’m reading another book by Cornelia Funke, Dragon Rider, and I really like the language and style.

The Princess School books by Jane Mason. I love fantasy books because you don’t know what weird things magic can do. And the Amazing Days of Abby Hayes series by Ann Mazer. They’re very modern and totally fun.
