Black & White New Year’s Eve Ball

VIP admission: $50 (Includes second- and third-floor access and complimentary champagne.)

The Crystal Ball and ReSOULution New Year’s Eve

Location: International Market Square, 275 Market St., Mpls.
Entertainment/theme: R&B soul-themed party with performances by Jason Heinrichs, Bryan Gerrard, David Drone, Brownie, DJ GSP, Tink, Funk, Chris Castle, DJ Stretch, Michael Link, Mustang Sally, and Charlie Echo.

Envy Toy Story New Year’s Eve 2K9!

Location: Envy nightclub, 400 First Ave. N., Mpls., 612-338-2222
Entertainment/theme: Features live human toy performers, including acts featured on America’s Got Talent.

The Loft @ Barfly: The Spirit of 09

Entertainment/theme: New York DJs Hercules and Love Affair, Atlanta DJ Le Castle Vania, hip-hop remixer DJ Klever. Hosted by The Moon Goons with a live performance by Solid Gold.

Solera Casino Royale 009

Entertainment/theme: All four levels of the restaurant will be transformed into a Riviera-style casino and nightclub a la James Bond. With go-go dancers, body-painted Bond girls, casino games, aerialists, and more.

Gabe’s Jamaican Reggae X-tra Sauce Party

New Year’s Eve: A Party We Can Believe In

Entertainment/theme: The theme—A Party We Can Believe In—is a riff on Barack Obama’s “Change You Can Believe In,” and First Ave. knows how to throw a party. Hosted by Ian (of “Drinking with Ian”) with tunes provided by DJs Roy Freedom, DJ Smitty, Mike the 2600 King (and guests), and Soviet “Too Much Love” Panda.
General admission: $10 advance; $15 at the door
