Place To Be

Mary Terese Peterson’s Place to Be offers a visual respite among the shops and signs at 38th Street and Grand Avenue in south Minneapolis. The vista, completed in 2004, is one of fourteen murals that beautify the landscape of the Kingfield neighborhood. Even more murals are planned for what has become one of the most ambitious urban art projects in the country.
