Developed around a theme articulated in a quote by Wallace Stevens—“A great disorder is an order”—this show features the work of two Minneapolis artists, Faye Passow and Jody Williams. Both depict random details from everyday life in different ways. Passow’s prints are created using a scraping technique on a lithography stone—one that produced deep, velvety blacks with colors printed underneath. Williams uses etching to create books and specimen boxes filled with the various ephemera of daily life.
