As the temperature begins to drop, it’s hard to resist the urge to hunker down on the sofa with a bowl of Wild Rice Soup (though we’ll tempt you to get out and enjoy one), pop in Fargo for the fifth time (sixth?), and dream of spring. We say, “Fight that urge, and grab a hold of the best that winter has to offer.” And we should know, we’ve been in the Bests biz for thirty years. So throw on a new parka, put on a hot pair of boots and head to a Wild game! And if you’re feeling sassy, sip one of the TC’s best Irish coffees before you slip into the X. Not into hockey? (Shame on you.) Take Fido to the dog park. Hit the Winter Carnival, take in the best Nutcracker, grab a glass of wine with your BFFs, or explore the best of six great neighborhoods. We’ve already done the legwork for you. We don’t care where you go—just go! Heck, go ice fishing if it will get you out of the house. And don’t forget the things we love year-round: a good beer, a great movie theater, a sink-your-teeth-into-it burger, a beautiful handbag and, of course, Lori and Julia. Before you buckle down for the next four months, check out these Bests and see if you can’t get yourself out into that winter wonderland of ours. Look for our sub zero heroes to help you out on those especially cold days!
