We've gathered the good stuff: 100+ of the Twin Cities' best places to eat, shop, socialize, and let loose. Plus, bonus "bests" from Joe Mauer (yes, he's still a St. Paul boy).
December 2009
Admittedly, 2009 will not go down in the record books as a year to brag about. But aside from the financial meltdown, the Franken/Coleman recount, the riches-to-rags sagas of Tom Petters and Denny Hecker, the death spiral of the Star Tribune, the unseasonably cold summer, and the imprudent arrival of snow in October, it wasn’t all bad. Some of it was pretty good, in fact. And in the compulsively readable pages that follow, our editors have identified the best of it—in shopping, dining, nightlife, entertainment, relaxation, recreation, and more. Enjoy.
