| Today’s Health Tip When it comes to having a window to the soul, the eyes have it. But keeping those windows clean and healthy can be another story. Eyes have a natural cleaning system, with lashes keeping out debris and tears moistening the eye. But later in life, eyes may become dry and irritated. Symptoms of dry eyes include burning, stinging, scratchiness, discomfort wearing contact lenses, and watery eyes. Some over-the-counter drops may ease symptoms of dry eyes, but be sure to see your ophthalmologist if the problems persist. |
