How to Use Our Physician Directory
Welcome to our seventh annual guide to Twin Cities area physicians and dentists! We're pleased to bring you this unique guide, which was compiled June through August of 2008 with the help of many doctors, clinics, clinic groups, physicians' groups, hospitals, and health plans.
The directory is searchable by keyword, specialty, and location. We've also included doctors' affiliations, which may include a hospital or hospitals where a doctor has privileges, as well as doctors' clinic groups and/or physicians' groups. You'll also find clinic names, addresses, and the numbers to call to make an appointment. A "DO" following a doctor's name designates a doctor of osteopathy, a "DMD" is a doctor of dental medicine, and a "DPM" is a doctor of podiatry medicine. All dental listings are DDS unless otherwise noted; all other listed doctors are MDs.
Please note that we've only included physicians and clinics from the ten-county metropolitan area. Many doctors have chosen not to list their hospital affiliations or have selected only their major hospital affiliation(s). In addition, not every physician belongs to a clinic group or physicians' group, and some who do have chosen not to list it. Some specialists such as radiologists work in numerous hospitals or other affiliated locations and may have chosen to list only their clinic group or physicians' group and a contact number. We recommend you call to find out a doctor's complete practice information.
There are many specialties and combinations of specialties in the medical world, but we've chosen to include those recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties and have not listed some such as pathology and nuclear medicine, which do not accept patients in the traditional manner.
Specialties are reviewed for inclusion each year prior to publication.
Our thanks to the many health care professionals for their help in producing this valuable community resource.
