This year Mpls.St.Paul Magazine celebrated its tenth production of the American Society of Interior Designers Showcase Home, a benefit for a number of local charities. A Sneak Preview

The designers of the 2006 Showcase Home had an exciting and challenging task: to make the inside of the home reflect the English-cottage style of its exterior.

How it Works

A year of planning, renovation, and design goes into a Showcase Home that is enjoyed for one special month. Here’s how the intricate process unfolds.
To create slipcovers for the side chairs, Ramsey Engler chose silk fabric because of its luminous appearance and beautiful colors.
