Meet the Finalists: Why do you deserve a bachelorette party?

I always knew that when I found "the one" I would know right away. That is why I rarely went out with a guy more than once. When I started dating my fiancé, Justin, I knew he was it. Justin is a 1st Lieutenant in the National Guard and was gone a lot the first few months we started dating. My friends were more than supportive as their reliable single friend gradually disappeared from the social scene. Justin left this past February for a yearlong deployment in Iraq. His absence has been harder to deal with than I imagined. If it wasn't for my girlfriends' unconditional love, I know it would be even harder. They've let me cry, they've made me laugh, and they understand when I say he is worth the wait. This bachelorette party would be the best way to honor and thank my beautiful friends.

In all honesty I don't "deserve" this prize__ but I'd love to win this to treat my best girls to a night out as a way to say thank you. Thank you for being my best friends and for honoring me and my fiancé by being part of our wedding. It's great to have just one friend who would do that, but to have five is truly wonderful. For keeping me calm, helping me with wedding tasks, giving their input, and for being so happy for me and my future hubby, my girls (and I) deserve to win. I can't say thank you enough!

When you haven't seen someone in a long time in Japan, you tell them Ohesashiburi. This means I am sorry I have been away from you for so long. I have spent the last two years living and teaching in Japan. I had a wonderful experience but truly missed my friends and family. I will be returning to Minneapolis in July, with three weeks to finish plans for our wedding, three weeks to reconnect with my friends and sister, and three weeks to enjoy the city I grew up in. My fiancé and I must move to Boston a few days after the wedding, so every night in Minneapolis needs to be a memorable, special night. I would really love to spend an amazing night with my friends to show them that I miss and love them and that I can't wait to come home for good.
