The
second annual American Society of Interior Designers Kitchen Spectacular, held
August 12 and 13, featured tours of seventeen recently remodeled kitchens.
Tour-goers also saw the latest trends in kitchen design and learned the benefits
of working with a designer. A cookout featured demonstrations from Morton’s,
chocolate from Chocolat Céleste, seminars by Warners’ Stellian, and a
kitchen-design presentation with ASID president Bonnie Birnbaum. Guest chefs
from premier area restaurants also prepared food for sampling in many of the
kitchens. The tour was made possible by generous support from Innovative
Surfaces, Warners’ Stellian, Cities 97, and KTLK. Mary
