Volunteer Hall of Fame

On Tuesday, September 19, the nineteenth annual Mpls.St.Paul Magazine Volunteer Hall of Fame event, presented by Associated Bank, honored the philanthropic endeavors of Leo Collins, Mary White Frey, Fred Friswold, Archie Givens, Lawrence LookingElk, Becky Odland, Barbara Aslesen, Ada Rubenstein, Donna Wiederkehr, and Gary Wilson. The reception was held at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, where more than 200 guests dined on delectable hors d’oeuvres and wine. Each inductee was presented with the newly named Burt & Rusty Cohen Volunteer Award. Associated Bank donated $1,000 dollars to each of the inductees’ charity of choice.
