Chambers Hotel Grand Opening
More than 1,300 people attended the grand opening of the latest hot hostelry to hit town, the Chambers Hotel Minneapolis. Guests explored the sixty-room luxury lodgings—which owner Ralph Burnet packed with more than 200 pieces of contemporary art from his private collection—while they savored hors d’oeuvres prepared by world-famous chef and Chambers Kitchen creator Jean-Georges Vongerichten. As an extra treat, attendees went home with a pair of engraved handcuffs made by Smith & Wesson.
