Specialty: I design and make one-of-a-kind couture wedding dresses using the finest fabrics available.  I also offer vintage gown restoration or restyling and alterations on brides, bridesmaids, and mother-of-the-bride dresses.

Background: I started my business twenty-six years ago after working at the Guthrie Theater in costume design and as a wardrobe consultant. I found a real niche in the bridal market.

Target Customer: Brides who are very discriminating about what they want and are having a hard time finding it. Maybe they want a particular style, color, or size that they aren’t seeing in the stores.

Price Range: Handmade silk wedding gowns start at $1,500.
