Describe your style. Eclectic. I love pairing funky with glamorous—cowboy boots and blazers or rhinestones with mud boots. I’m like a crow, sparkly things catch my eye!

Whose style do you admire? I love to see people dress according to what makes them feel good, rather than following trends.

Where do you shop? Consignment stores and boutiques. Recycling and supporting small local businesses are equally important to me.

What do you like about this outfit? The bold, sassy colors and movement. We spend so much time in black here in the north—color makes me wild and free.

Tell us about your turquoise. It’s my birthstone, and legend says you should receive turquoise as a gift. All my pieces were gifts from loved ones, although I admit that I picked them all out!

What’s your definition of beauty? It radiates from people who are pleased with themselves. Beauty is natural to the young. When seen in maturity, it reflects someone who is committed to their own joy. Some examples are Susan Sarandon, Oprah, and author Alice Walker.

1. Your relationship to your body is the secret to beauty. No amount of clothing, product, or health food can substitute for you and your body having fun dancing, skipping, singing.

2. Your life is the way it is because you created it. If you’re not happy, change it!

3. Hula-Hoop ten minutes daily—you’ll have fun, and fun creates beauty.
