Missoni’s technicolor knit zigzags are world famous. Locally, the unofficial ambassador for the Milan-based brand is Suzanne Egan Larson, a mother of two from Minneapolis. She owns and wears fourteen dresses, thirteen tops, seven scarves, one “disco” one-piece jumpsuit, and much more.

Your first Missoni item? Four years ago, I bought a pair of pants at Nordstrom. The pattern is dynamic and has every color in it. I later bought the matching scarf.

Why Missoni? They’re so rock ’n’ roll! They just work for me—with my personality and my life. The pieces fit me perfectly and they are so wearable. Fifty percent of my Missoni is all-season.

Biggest bargain? I’m the deal queen. I got a Missoni scarf at Saks Off Fifth for $29. They’re usually more than $200.

When you workout every morning at 6 a.m., what do you wear? Old Navy tank tops, a Champion sports bra, and boot-cut pants.

Other labels you love? Yves Saint Laurent shoes and handbags. The simplicity and structure are a backbone to the Missoni. And I’m a girl who likes to match her bag and shoes sometimes. I also use the YSL skin care.

Missoni fantasy? I think I could hang with the Missoni family on Lake Como. Wear a dress that Margarita [Missoni] hands me. We’d sip wine and run into George Clooney.
