Renée Walter and Erin Newkirk

The Story: When Walter forgot her friend’s birthday (again!), she swore to prevent such future disasters. “I was motivated by my need to remember dates, and Erin has always loved cards and fine stationery. We decided then and there to help other busy people like us get organized in style.”

Inspiration: Newkirk made her first birthday card at nine months old; Walter grew up playing “let’s start a business.” So they combined their love for chic cards and retail. “Our mantra is ‘Fashionable cards, fashionably on time,’ “ says Newkirk. “Our calendar provides the springboard for remembering key dates and the cards provide the means to celebrate them.”
