Where: Walt Disney World

Why: Every kid in America is pining to ride the new Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

How: Daily nonstops on AirTran, Northwest, and Sun Country to Orlando. Fares start around $250, and it’s about a three-hour flight.

Stay: Disney’s charming BoardWalk Inn is close to lots of entertainment and dining amenities and offers flexible room plans. Rates from $305. 407-939-5100

Eat: Flying Fish Café, along the Boardwalk, earns a good Zagat score and offers an interesting and varied menu of seafood and, of course, a kids’ menu. 407-939-5100

Pack: The stroller—even toddlers love WDW.

P.S.: Remember to use the FastPass service to reserve times at the most popular rides—otherwise you’ll spend hours in line. FastPasses are only available at the park.
