Ask Heidi | Hand Address vs. Print Labels

Bookmark and Share
You asked: Should I hand address the save-the-date cards and invitations? Or is it okay to print labels? I have terrible handwriting.

Heidi says: Wedding protocol still says that addressing invitations in handwriting—not labels—is the way to go. If you don't like your handwriting, enlist the help of a friend. As for your save-the-dates, more couples are using labels since these are viewed less 'formally' than your actual wedding invitation. Stick with clear labels (not white) and a lovely font to give them a more refined look.
