You asked: What is the proper date to ask for response cards to be sent back?

Heidi Says: Assuming your invitations go out approximately six weeks before your wedding, you should ask for response cards to be returned two to three weeks prior to the event. This timeframe also is somewhat contingent on your caterer’s needs and your comfort level. By two weeks out, you will certainly want to know where your guest list stands, so you can move into the final planning stages for your event.
