With one of the nation’s most vibrant and multicultural metro areas, thanks in part to our state’s long history of welcoming immigrants and refugees, the Minnesota wedding-day paradigm has shifted. On any given weekend, the Twin Cities boasts colorful, cultural weddings filled with inspiring rituals, heritage, and tradition. Weddings are—first and foremost for the majority of couples—beautiful religious ceremonies followed by tradition-packed parties. As these five couples show, regardless of their diverse backgrounds and unique celebrations, they all shared a great deal in common as their beautiful events united families in love.
